Black trousers and a white t-shirt
The club uniform consists of loose-fitting black trousers (not denim) and a plain white t-shirt. White t-shirts with AHA logos are allowed (you can buy these through our online shop or at the venue itself) but otherwise the only t-shirts allowed are plain white with no logos, colours, images or text upon them.
Visitors and guests from other clubs are encouraged to wear their own club uniform to our training sessions. However, if your club doesn't have a uniform, please come in black trousers and a white t-shirt. Please do not turn up in jeans and a band t-shirt, as it is not respectful towards the school, its ethos, instructors, or fellow students.
Please bring sensible training shoes. Heavy boots are not appropriate, nor are high heels, or anything that might otherwise affect your ability to be light, agile, and well-balanced on your feet. Please note that footwear IS required and that training barefoot (or just in socks) is not an option.
Bottle of water, miscellaneous
Additionally, you should bring with you a bottle of water and a pair of thin gloves (to help protect your hand and wrist from chafing on your equipment). If you suffer from asthma then you should bring your inhaler with you; if you need other medication then you should contact the club instructor to see if there may be any problems.
