If you would like to hire this venue to run an activity of some description, we would be delighted to hear from you. Our typical rate of hire is £20 per hour, although we can lower this to £15 per hour for AHA subscribers.
The total space in the venue is around 3200 square feet (roughly 297 square metres), although usable space for hire is closer to 1600 square feet (roughly 149 square metres). We have folding chairs and tables, making the venue suitable for meetings. We also have other facilities that make this an attractive venue to hire.
If your activity requires set-up and/or tidy-away time, before or afterwards, then this must be arranged in advance and must be paid for as well. For example, if you want to run an activity from 3pm-5pm, requiring half an hour set-up and one hour of clearing away afterwards, then we would have to bill for half an hour plus two hours plus one hour, for a total of three and a half hours.
If your proposed time is outwith our typical opening times, then we may need to bill at a higher rate to cover the attendance of a member of staff. Similarly, if you wish to use the organisation’s equipment during your activity, then we may need to bill at a higher rate to cover maintenance for wear-and-tear on the equipment.
Needless to say, all activities must be legal, acceptable, and safe. Our own activities will receive priority for using the space, meaning that we are unlikely to offer block bookings at this time.
