Scottish Broadsword Academy (SBA), established in 2019, is a new martial arts club based in North Ayrshire Scotland. We study HEMA which is short for Historical European Martial Arts, also known as Historical Fencing. Our area of study will be Highland swordsmanship, techniques of the Scottish sword masters and the evolution of broadsword fencing expressed by various broadsword masters.
