We are the recently formed Edinburgh University HEMA Society (EUHS). Our primary focus is the 14th century Armizare of Fiore de’i Liberi. We are a student run and student led society however we do have strong connections with various other HEMA groups both in Edinburgh and in Scotland as a whole.
Because we are a student society, we feel building character and community is as important as developing martial skills. We also pride ourselves on our inclusion and openness to diversity and we are always striving to improve where we can by listening and taking on board the feedback of our members.
We’re located primarily in Southside and Newington with most of our practices taking place in the Upper Hall of the Pleasance, Edinburgh EH8 9TJ.
