Inspired by the British 1796 light cavalry sabre and adapted for fighting on foot, the Black Fencer synthetic 1796 infantry sabre incorporates all the important qualities relative to the weight, balance, and mass dynamics of a steel sword, keeping also the flexibility qualities for a training sword, and maintaining the safety of the nylon material, so we can practise historical fencing with proper force and intent, without padding up too heavily.
