Description
The Purpleheart Armoury plastic sickle was designed to be sturdy enough to training sessions involving hooking the arms, legs, or body, as depicted in Paulus Mair’s Opus Amplissimum de Arte Athetica – yet also to be flexible enough for safe sparring (with adequate protective gear). It requires no maintenance, though for best results it should be stored out of the sun in a cool, dry place.
The sickle features a 10.8 cm paracord-wrapped handle for a secure and comfortable grip, and is 40.6 cm in overall length, part of which is a 42.0 cm (very blunt!) blade measuring along the curve.
