Description
A throat protector, or gorget, manufactured by Superior Fencing.
This is a well padded fencing protector for the neck and top of the chest, with a hardened plastic panel in the front of the throat, and a foam padded bib and panels for the chest and collarbones. This is still slimline enough to fit underneath most fencing jackets comfortably, or be used in conjunction with a fencing mask for safety in low gear technical training.
The gorget is one-size-fits-all, with an elasticated strap and velcro fitting around the back of the neck so there is some adjustment for different sizes.
